Bronze statues at Art at the Klompenpad

Bronze statues along the walking paths
I really enjoyed Saturday June 8 and Sunday June 9 with my bronze sculptures at Art at the Klompenpad. There where Art and nature come together at the beautiful De Lieskamp Estate in Wageningen. Fortunately the weather was good, it was chilly but dry with some lovely sunshine every now and then.

Garden statues in nature
Bronze sculptures at Art at the Klompenpad. Art along the Klompenpad is a scenic walking and cycling route that starts in the picturesque Rhenen. After three consecutive successful weekends in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the artists now presented their creations for the fourth time. the Klompenpad. It's an amazing experience; “the beauty of art" in the middle of nature!

Bronze sculptures at De Lieskamp Estate
Countless local artists present their creations amid the beautiful and biodiverse nature at De Lieskamp Estate. The art on display comes into its own in the natural environment. The works of art have an intimate connection with nature. This is due to both the material used and the chosen theme. Art therefore forms a harmonious whole with nature. The artists were personally present at their works to tell more about them.

Enjoy Bronze Art and Nature
On the estate there was an opportunity to get coffee, tea, delicious home-baked cakes and other delicacies. This was organized by the Rotary Club Wageningen-Bergpoort. The proceeds from this go to a good cause; a dream trip to de Efteling for children and their parents who are less fortunate.
This art initiative was created through the collaboration of various independent artists and De Lieskamp Estate. This is supported by the cultural broker in the municipality of Wageningen.
The walking/cycling routes can be found at website of Art at the Klompenpad. On the De Lieskamp Estate, the Harsloër Klompenpad follows a route past works of art by various artists. This Klompenpad offers a passage through a beautiful green nature reserve.
The origin story starts with a simple mission: Mascha Bossuyt van ThinkPink Studio. She wanted to make art accessible to the public again during the corona period. The arts and culture sector then came to a complete standstill. After contact with Martine van der Mast from Landgoed de Lieskamp, the idea was born to place art along the walking route on the estate. The 'Art on the Klompenpad' initiative in 2021 became a great success. More than 1000 participating walkers who were pleased that there was something fun to do again after months of inactivity. It was a beautiful symbiosis
